In the wake of its fiery destruction in 2016, the historic South Lyon Hotel received a surge of support from its surrounding community, including MST Seamless Tube & Pipe. Along with donated materials, MST’s men and women of steel also worked tirelessly to design, produce, transport and install a custom hexagonal foot rail along the entire first and second-floor bars of the highly anticipated restaurant.
MST invited South Lyon Hotel staff to watch the production of the unique project before transporting the pipe via a Hyster 300, complete with a police escort to protect the peculiar vehicle and its contents. The police force involved were among local citizens and trades eager to help the renovated restaurant open with as much speed and buzz as possible.
The restaurant is due to reopen at the end of October 2017, and MST is proud to have played a part in its restoration.
